An Essential Tool for Your Creativity

Live's Info View is an underrated tool that can make a big difference in your workflow. This small panel, located in the bottom left corner of the interface, provides detailed explanations and tips on almost every element you interact with in the software.

Activating Info View is simple: click the triangle icon in the bottom left corner of your window or press ‘Shift’ + ‘?’. From there, you can explore Live with a guide always at your fingertips. By hovering over any function, parameter, or device, you'll see descriptions that help you better understand how to use that element of Live.

This is particularly useful for beginners, but also for advanced users looking to uncover hidden tricks and features. Info View can speed up your learning process and give you the confidence to experiment with new techniques without constantly needing to look for tutorials online.

In short, Info View is like having an interactive manual built directly into Live. If you haven’t tried it yet, we encourage you to do so and discover how much it can simplify your music production.
