Autoshift is coming - The native Ableton autotune built into the DAW

Finally. Ableton is creating it’s own AutoTune. Why is this important? Because they’re adding features that are only viable with a deep integration with the DAW. The biggest feature, is real time scale awareness. This means that you can create instant harmonies, as AutoShift can correct your pitch in real-time.

The best feature in Ableton 12, most people don’t talk about - latency.

The "Keep Latency" feature is by far one of the most useful features to come to Ableton Live 12. Helping ensure that your recordings stay in sync, when you enable it, the audio you record keeps the exact timing you heard during the process, which is super handy for maintaining the groove in more complex projects. This way, what you hear while recording is what you get, making your workflow smoother and more reliable. It's a small change, but it makes a big difference in keeping everything on track. What does it take to become a Certified Ableton Trainer?

It was only a few years ago that becoming a certified ableton trainer was kind of easy. If you had a few years experience, knew your way around the DAW and had an ability to teach, they’d give you a certificate. But nowadays, as real real money has been made by becoming a certified Ableton trainer, the bar has been lifted.

Here’s what it takes to become an Ableton Certified Trainer:

• Advanced Proficiency: Must have expert-level skills in Ableton Live, Max for Live, and Push.

• In-Person Test: Attend a certification event where you’ll undergo rigorous testing.

• Selective Program: Only highly skilled trainers are certified, focusing on quality.
